Technical Support Engineer

CareWorks Support Team provides remote support to over 80 customers in the UK and Ireland for Social Care applications developed in house. These applications are developed using .NET, SQL Server 2008 and Microsoft Dynamics CRM.

Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot & resolve technical & non-technical incidents for customers
  • Install & maintain product releases on customer sites
  • Identify software bugs and work with development team to resolve them
  • Document resolution of incidents & add to the Knowledge Base
  • Provide on-line or face-to-face technical training for customers
  • Work under Service Level Agreements(SLA) to resolve incidents for customers
  • Occasional travel will be a feature of this role.

Skills/Experience:

  • Minimum 3 years experience in IT where software and hardware are a key element in the delivery of service to customers
  • Strong customer-facing communication (verbal and written)
  • Web application installation, configuration, and troubleshooting
  • IIS web server installation and configuration.
  • SQL Server relational database installation, configuration and troubleshooting
  • Experience writing SQL queries for incident investigation
  • Problem and issue management, classification and prioritisation, and root cause analysis methodology
  • Microsoft Dynamics CRM 4.0 experience an advantage

Qualifications:

  • Third Level qualification in relevant subject(s)
  • Microsoft Certifications in
  • SQL Server 2008
  • Windows Server 2008
  • Microsoft Dynamics CRM 4.0

MS Dynamics CRM Developer

We are a Microsoft Gold Partner who require a commercially experienced Dynamics CRM Applications Developer to join our team. The candidate’s main responsibilities include development, customization and some technical pre sales support in a fast moving environment.

The candidate will work in a team to develop and maintain a Dynamics CRM 4.0/2011 application and .NET based website accessible by citizens.

Your responsibilities will be a blend of Functional and Technical Analysis, design and development. The role will involve participation across the Full Project Lifecycle (SDLC) and the platform is going to be Dynamics CRM 4.0 and 2011 encompassing Sharepoint, C#, ASP.NET and SQL Server 2008.

Applicants must be willing to learn new technologies and further their qualifications in the context of their role. You will have training in Dynamics, gain further paid certifications and on the job development of your skills.

Skills/Experience Required:

Junior MS Dynamics CRM Developer

CareWorks requires a Junior MS CRM Developer to join the technical team. You will be both hands on and also perform 3rd Line Technical Support.

As an MS CRM Junior Developer you will work alongside a team of 4 experienced developers to develop and maintain a Dynamics CRM 4.0/2011 application and .NET based website accessible by citizens.

Your responsibilities will be a blend of Functional and Technical Analysis, design and development. The role will involve participation across the Full Project Lifecycle (SDLC) and the platform is going to be Dynamics CRM 4.0 and 2011 encompassing Sharepoint, C#, ASP.NET and SQL Server 2008.

You will have training in Dynamics, gain further paid certifications and on the job development of your skills allowing to progress into a more senior role. Occasional travel will be a feature of this role.

This is a brilliant opportunity for a Junior Developer to take the next step and gain some excellent experience. Salary €35K, depending on experience.

  • 6 Months Dynamics CRM development and / or Technical Consultancy
