Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council goes live with CareWorks RAISE for its Integrated Children’s System
CareWorks, a leading provider of multi-agency case management systems today announced that Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council has successfully implemented CareWorks RAISE for its Integrated Children System (ICS). The introduction of CareWorks RAISE ICS as a replacement of the OLM CareFirst system will allow Stockton’s Children and Young People Service to align assessment processes and facilitate the recording and exchanging of information within and across agencies to deliver effective services to Children and their families.

Stockton’s Children and Young People Service deals with around 3,000 requests for services per year, resulting in 1,400 initial assessments and 120 core assessments. CareWorks RAISE ICS is currently being used by 240 practitioners and managers including access to the system from home where required with a reported high user acceptance. A web services interface to the AddressPoint gazetteer is currently being implemented.

“During the tendering process, practitioners expressed a preference for CareWorks RAISE ICS and the implementation of the product has resulted in a very high level of user acceptance. Concurrent usage has recently exceeded originally projected levels. The use of Microsoft technology also ensures compatibility with our current systems and provides the ideal platform for the development and completion of our future information sharing projects” commented Tim Whitfield, ICS Project Manager at Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council.

Michael Dolan, Managing Director at CareWorks, added: “We’re very pleased with the success of this go live and congratulate the team involved in Stockton. This go live illustrates again our ability to deliver future-proofed and user-friendly ICS solutions which meet customer needs and government compliance”
