CareWorks RAISE Children's Services provides a framework for case management including assessment, planning, intervention and review and allow Children’s Services practitioners and managers to record information in a structured manner with pre-populated electronic ICS exemplars. The system features well-designed web-based computer screen layouts which enable staff to easily locate, browse, retrieve and enter or modify data as they perform their daily work. To monitor performance against the key national Children’s Returns, CareWorks RAISE Children's Services uses a powerful management information module to produce local and national reports.

Meeting the business requirements of Children’s Services

CareWorks RAISE Children's Services supports the complete range of social care processes in Children’s Services including the Integrated Children’s System (ICS), Looked After Children, Child Protection, Leaving Care, Foster Care, Adoption and Children’s Finance & Budget Management. The system complies fully with the Local Authority Circular (2005)3 and all of the Core Information Requirements for ICS published by the Department for Education and Skills in 2005. CareWorks recently participated in an Integrated Children’s System Compliance audit process with Capgemini on behalf of the Department for Children, School and Families (DCSF) committed to ensuring that RAISE is an appropriate platform to deliver current and planned requirements of the Integrated Children’s System.

A proven and robust information system for Children’s Services

23 organisations in the UK and Ireland are currently using RAISE Children’s Services including 12 ICS implementations in England, which were all delivered by the January 2007 deadline set by the DCSF.
