Mobile Working

We at CareWorks understand that times have changed. Our solution provides the tools that allow professionals to work offline and away from the office for long periods of time whilst giving them the information they need to complete their work as though they were in the office. CareDirector mobile allows Social Care professionals to work ‘on-the-go’. With our mobile working solution users are able to manage their caseload from their laptop, tablet and mobile phone. Information will automatically be added to the solution irrespective of which device they are using.

The system works in the same way as it does for office based staff. When a worker is offline, all the capability is available locally. When the offline user returns to internet connectivity, any additions or updates will be automatically uploaded to the central database. Once the new contact information is synchronised back to the online system it can automatically trigger other actions such as workflows requesting assessment, etc.

CareDirector Mobile has been in live use at:

  • Coventry City Council since 2011
  • Wakefield Council since 2011
  • Staffordshire & Stoke on Trent Partnership Trust since 2013
